Mission Two

Choose 4 birds to identify. Each person can pick 1 bird to learn about. (You can pick more if you want to become a real birder expert!)

Look at  Field Guides to help you decide which birds to pick. Or choose a bird from a list.

Then read  to learn about your bird.
Find out:

What does the bird look like?
What does it eat?
What is the bird's habitat?
Where does it roam?
What sounds does it make?
Tell one interesting fact about your bird.

1. Make a Field Notes page for each bird you choose.
2. Make a Field Journal to keep all of your field notes.
3. Look at All About Birds for more interesting facts about birds.

Okay, Are you ready? Here is your job:

1. Print the Field Notes Page.
2. Click on links to find out about your bird. Do all of the guides say the same thing?
3. Write down your discoveries on the Field Notes page.
4. Don't forget to draw the  bird and show its markings!
5. Share your discoveries with your team.

How did you do?
